5 Digital Tools to Help Business Owners Get Organized

1. - Evernote. - This is a free app that lets you take notes, create a to-do list,
and save useful nuggets that you find online. It syncs across your phone and computer and eliminates the dreaded “where-did-I-put-that” feeling. When I wake up in the middle of the night with an idea or a new to-do list item, this is where I capture it.
2. - Doodle. - Doodle is a quick and easy (and free!) scheduling tool that cuts down on the back-and-forth emails that can clog your inbox when you’re trying to find a suitable meeting time that works for a group of people.
3. - Asana. - If project management is an important part of your day-to-day, then check out Asana. It lets you create, organize and assign tasks, attach files to specific tasks, communicate with your team members, and track the progress of all of your projects in one place.
4. - Feedly. - I carve out time in the morning and at night to read up on industry news. I use Feedly to aggregate, organize, and show me in one place all of the news I want to see. It grabs publications, blogs, and YouTube channels, and you can even plug in your Google alerts.
5. - Buffer. - To stay in front of and connected to clients and prospects, I often like to share one or two of the interesting things that I find during my scan of the news. Buffer will let me queue that content and then schedule posts to my various social media accounts. You can even add a little Buffer button to your browser that allows you to quickly add content to the Buffer queue.
