My brother and I often counsel each other on the ups and downs of being a business owner.  Years ago, he suggested that I develop a Victory List, celebrating all of the positive things that happened in the past year.  

This powerful tool is a great way to take stock, assess what went right and plan for improvements.  

In addition to conducting this exercise for my company, I guide my clients through the same assessment each year.  

We can then develop a game-plan, prioritizing the goals and developing action plans for the next year.
